Where is Captain’s Villa located and how do you get to Heisala Island?
Captain’s Villa is located on the island of Heisala in Parainen, in the heart of the beautiful Turku Archipelago and approximately one hour’s journey from Turku. The island can be reached by the M/S Viken ferry, which also carries vehicles. For groups, private boat transfers can also be arranged, for instance from Granvik Harbour or directly from the Aura River in Turku.
How many guests can stay overnight at Captain’s Villa?
Captain’s Villa comfortably accommodates even larger groups. The main villa and the Rengintalo guest house have a total of 10 bedrooms, providing year-round accommodation for up to 24 guests. During the summer season, capacity can be expanded with luxury tents for more than 30 guests.
How large an event can be hosted in Captain’s Hall?
Captain’s Hall is a 285 m² celebration venue accommodating up to 150 guests. The versatile space is ideally suited for weddings, anniversaries and corporate celebrations, and table layouts can be customised to suit your guest numbers.
What kind of sauna facilities are available at Captain’s Villa?
Captain’s Villa offers versatile sauna facilities right by the sea: a traditional seaside sauna, smoke sauna, tent sauna and a heated seawater hot tub. In summer, you can combine sauna with swimming in the sea, and in winter with refreshing ice swimming. Saunas can be incorporated into accommodation, celebration or corporate event packages.
Can Captain’s Villa be booked for fully private use?
Yes. The peaceful eastern tip of Heisala Island is reserved exclusively for Captain’s Villa and its guests. The sheltered location offers your group complete privacy to celebrate, stay and enjoy the archipelago without any outside groups.
Can guests bring their own alcoholic beverages, and how is catering arranged?
Guests are welcome to bring their own alcoholic beverages to Captain’s Villa. Catering and food services are planned together according to the nature of the occasion, group size and your preferences.
